VELLA SEEDAI

The major ingredients used in the preparation of Vella Seedai include Rice Flour, Urad Dal, Butter, Grated Jaggery, Cardamom Powder, etc. Each item is combined and prepared separately, to arrive at the right proportion and mixture, when made into balls. Special jaggery syrup is made to add taste to the Vella Seedai, as Jaggery is what is going to add to the sweetness of this yummy sweet. In the end, these are deep-fried to perfection. The texture and ratio of flour decide it all, which is where we ensure perfection. These melt inside, while they seem crispy outside.Traditionally, the Vella Seedai is prepared during Gokulashtami, also known as Krishna Jayanthi.

SEEDAI

Seedai made by using Rice flour, Urad Dal flour, butter, grated coconut, hing and some salt is mixed and then deep fried into small balls.
